Collaborate with Sales Managers to understand customers’ requirements, translate them into technical specifications and propose technical solutions to the customer.
Maintain documentation of customer’s requirements and our proposed solutions.
Technical troubleshooting during pre-sales and post-sales processes. May involve some hands-on during installation and servicing.
Manage existing product catalogues and marketing materials by liaising with suppliers to ensure that contents are up-to-date.
Develop the product portfolio by constantly seeking new suppliers to meet customers' needs.
Develop business plans and go-to-market strategies for products.
Conduct training to staff for product updates, and conduct training to customers during system installation.
Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications in physics, engineering, science or a related discipline.
Work experience in photonics, optics, lasers products, machinery or related industries.
Good problem-solving skills, creativity and resourcefulness.
Good command of English. Good written and verbal communication skills.
Independent, detail-oriented and self-driven individual.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, troubleshooting, installation, servicing, etc.
Qualifications not paramount over industry sector experience.
